Planning a Vacation to Oahu

The island of Oahu is known as "The Gathering Place" and it's normally what people think of when they think of Hawaii. Oahu includes Waikiki, Honolulu and Kailu. It is also home to top attractions, such as Diamond Head and Turtle Bay. In fact, 75 percent of the Hawaii population resides on Oahu.

A must-see in Oahu is Pearl Harbor. You can tour the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, which is located about 45-minutes west of Waikiki. No reservations are taken and the tour is free. You cannot bring in any backpacks, purses, shopping bags, luggage or any other such items at the Memorial. The tour takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.
