Madrid, the capital of Spain, is located in the center of the Castillian plain in the middle of the peninsula. With a population of over three million people, Madrid features rich culture and a vibrant nightlife.

Cocido Madrileno is a stew that features chickpeas, vegetables and meat. It's quite delicious. Keep in mind that many restaurants in Madrid don't even open until after 8:00 p.m.

At night, Madrid comes a live with bars, pubs, nightclubs and all-night cafes. There's never a shortage of nighttime activity in the lively capital city of Madrid.
