• Oahu vacation rentals can be expensive so skip the fancy hotel and stay in one of the many inexpensive hostels • Eat in local, inexpensive eateries rather than touristy restaurants • Skip the rental car and be chauffeured around the island on the super-cheap public buses • Take advantage of the free attractions (which includes most sights and almost every beach)
