Take a trip through the English countryside or spend your days in museums and galleries in urban cities to learn about the immense culture and history of England. You can visit the homes of significant persons in English history, including William Shakespeare, marvel at the wonder of ancient Stonehenge, and take in the beautiful architecture at Oxford University, England's oldest university.

Tower of London
Located on the north bank of the River Thames, the Tower of London is one of the most recognizable historical landmarks in the city. Since 1303, the Tower has been the home to the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. Throughout history, the Tower of London served as a fortress, prison, royal palace, armory and even a zoo!

St. Paul's Cathedral
This building is one of the most visited sites in all of England. The current building dates back to the 17th century, however several other St. Paul's Cathedrals existed prior.

Westminster Abbey
This Gothic church in Westminster, London is the traditional location for the coronation and burial of English monarchs.
